About Me

I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist working in person with clients in Marino Counselling and Psychotherapy or online (if preferred). My main interests are anxiety, depression, grief and addiction but I have experience working with many other issues. In addition to this, I work on a voluntary basis in a local community centre offering therapeutic services to those in need of support.

What to expect from counselling/psychotherapy

Counselling gives you an opportunity to stop.

The space we will use is quiet and peaceful. There is no pressure on you to do anything. I will support you to settle into the space and give you time to start from where you are and not where you think you should be.

Whether you are in crisis or suffering an unrelenting fatigue or  just not feeling yourself, I urge you to seek help. Everyone will suffer at some point in their lives. Sometimes it is explicitly clear what the trigger was but sometimes it is not so easy to identify a reason. Regardless of the circumstances, it is always useful to seek human connection when we are suffering. It is not always possible to get that connection from our family or friends. A therapeutic space offers time, safety and confidentiality without agenda.
